
Eastern Racing, in partnership with Enrico Fulgenzi Racing, secured a major victory at the Porsche Sports Cup Suisse, held from August 29-31, 2024, at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão. Eastern’s President and driver, Eric Wagner, teamed up with Enrico Fulgenzi in the 2-hour endurance race, winning first place in the Class 21: 992 GT3 Cup series.
Driving the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup with car #217, Wagner and Fulgenzi showcased precision and accuracy, excelling on the demanding 4.653 km Portimão Circuit, known for its elevation changes and 15 technical curves. The race was fiercely contested as teams vied for crucial points with the season nearing its end.
Wagner and Fulgenzi claimed first place, followed by Monegro and Nielsen in car #24 and Vollett and Nunn in car #221 from PTE by Manthey Racing, who finished second and third, respectively.
This victory highlights Eastern Racing’s dedication to pushing boundaries and achieving excellence on the track.
