Emanuel (Ema) Talquenca

Emanuel Talquenca (Ema) started working at the age of 18 with Argentina’s most popular and oldest racing series in the world, Turismo Carretera (TC). It was here that he worked alongside mentor and friend Ernesto Gonella learning how to build engines and chassis, repair fiber glass and carbon fiber, as well as performing metals fabrication, and more.
In 2008, Ema moved to the U.S.A. to help Road to Indy / IndyCar team Juncos Racing build cars and equipment to compete in the Pro Mazda (now Indy Pro 2000) Championship in 2009. From 2010 to 2013, Ema worked as an engineer with Sargeant Motorsports on a formula BMW test and helped build the team from the ground up. Ema then went on to work as a team manager and engineer with Linares Racing before returning to work with Juncos Racing as an engineer in 2014.
Ema worked at Juncos Racing and was part of the team that achieved multiple victories and win the last old Pro Mazda car championship with driver Victor Franzoni in 2017. Ema continued his work with as an engineer with BN Racing in 2018 before joining T3M in 2019.
In T3M’s rookie season, Ema and team drivers Eric Wagner, Antoine Comeau, and Peter Dempsey achieved wins in the Blue Marble Cocktails Radical Cup North America 1340 class, 1500 class, team, and overall categories and triumphed at the NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill endurance race. Their #10 Eastern Racing / Turn 3 Motorsport Radical SR3 RSX 1340 car, became the first car with an engine capacity of under two liters to take the overall win.
Ema is excited to, once again, collaborate with Wagner and Franzoni.
