Willows, CA – The 25 Hours of Thunderhill was a disappointment for the Eastern by TVI Racing team. A successful practice on Thursday and Friday and the qualifying session on Friday evening had the team hopeful.

“Everything looked great on Saturday morning,” stated the team principal, Emanuel Talquenca — Eastern Racing. “However, once the race started, we ran into mechanical problems that seemed to accumulate during the first 1/3 of the race.” The sticking point came mid-way through the race when a new engine was required. Considering that the team would have been 200 laps behind the leader by the time they were able to get back on track, the decision was made to call it a day and retire the car.

The winning Crowdstrike LMP3 car seemed to perform flawlessly, producing an impressive win.

“As expected, the young racing superstar, Mac Clark, drove impressively and Victor Franzoni qualified with fast laps during the night session. It was great to have Neil Alberico back on the team after he helped us secure our victory in 2019. Neil is a talented driver and a very positive addition to the paddock” stated driver, Eric Wagner. “As disappointing as the day was, I can’t wait to get back in the car. We have a solid team.”
