25 Hours of Thunderhill Driver Line-Up Finalized

november 22, 2022

The 25 Hours of Thunderhill, Presented by Hawk Performance, is North America's longest closed-coursed endurance race. With the December 3rd event fast approaching, these last few weeks before the race are the most critical time. The final driver line-up includes Eric Wagner, Victor Franzoni, Neil Alberico, and Mackenzie (Mac) Clark. Unfortunately, due to a scheduling conflict, Rasmus Lindh will not be driving at the 25 Hours of Thunderhill this year.

Eric Wagner, Victor Franzoni, and Neil Alberico have all competed in the 25 Hours of Thunderhill in the past. In 2020, Eric Wagner and Victor Franzoni drove a short but sweetened race with Antoine Comeau and placed third, despite the heavy fog and low visibility. In 2019, Neil Alberico and Eric Wagner drove toward victory with Pete Dempsey and Antoine Comeau, leading a staggering 637 laps out of 672. Eric Wagner, Victor Franzoni, and Neil Alberico’s experience in endurance races gives them an advantage in this year’s 25 Hours of Thunderhill, Presented by Hawk Performance.

The newest driver on the team, Mackenzie (Mac) Clark, is a young 18-year-old Canadian Race Car driver from Campbellsville, Ontario. Coming from a family of race car drivers, his passion for the sport developed early. At only 12 years old, he was awarded Class Vice-Champion at the 2016 Karting Nationals. His F1600 racing stats consist of 22 races, 18 wins, and 20 podiums. With a lot of accomplishments under his belt at a young age, it’s no surprise he’s ready for his first endurance race. His accuracy, focus, and calm approach are a perfect fit for Eastern Racing’s quest for the Championship.
